Andy Gordons new role at Caddies Europe

Andy Gordon is appointed as new Business Unit Manager for Off Course Golf and Senior Golf Business Developer within Caddies Europe.
“I am really excited about the direction that Caddies is heading. This role gives me the opportunity to look outside the box and see what the future of Caddies and the golfing landscape is, and to enhance our reputation as a disrupter in the golf marketplace”, says Andy.
Based in Cambrils, Spain, Andy Gordon brings an impressive track record and over two decades of experience in the golf industry, positioning him as a vital asset to the Caddie group’s ambitious growth plans.
A distinguished career in golf
Andy Gordon’s career spans over 20 years as a member of the British PGA. He began as Head Assistant at Stoneham Golf Club in the South of England, where he honed his skills and passion for the game for nearly a decade. Following this, he established his own golf academy and retail business at one of the largest municipal golf facilities in southern England, combining coaching expertise with entrepreneurial flair.
In 2010, Andy relocated to Spain, dedicating two years to studying under leading global golf coaches, deepening his knowledge and enhancing his instructional techniques. His expertise led him to a prestigious role at Troon Golf, where he joined Lumine Golf Club (now Infinitum) as Head of Instruction. Over time, Andy advanced to Head Golf Professional and ultimately became Director of Golf.
Andy later turned his focus to innovative business development. As European expansion leader for The Bucket Pros, he successfully introduced their unique offerings to golf clubs across Spain, the Netherlands, the UK, and Dubai. In 2024, Andy joined GolfStar as a Senior Business Developer, where he played a crucial role in shaping strategic growth initiatives.
Driving innovation at Caddies Europe AB
As Business Unit Manager for Off Course Golf at Caddies Europe AB, Andy is tasked with steering the Group’s efforts to establish a chain of stand-alone Off Course Golf facilities across multiple markets. Additionally, his role as Senior Golf Business Developer will see him marketing and selling the company’s suite of B2B services to golf course operators and business owners.
Andy’s leadership will extend to enhancing operational excellence at GolfStar Cambrils while aligning with the Group’s overall strategy to redefine golf experiences.
“We have a talented team of multi-industry experts who are all driven to push boundaries, and I am delighted to be part of that team. I expect that over the coming years we will continue to develop new and exciting golf facilities and products that offer the industry (B2B) and the consumer (B2C) everything they want and need”, says Andy.
Nicklas Raask, Group CEO of Caddies Europe, adds:
“I’m very happy to see Andy taking on a very important role within Caddies, driving the area of Off Course golf across our portfolio of brands. An area which is increasing fast in the market currently, boosted by a strong technology innovation trend in both the range, academy and indoor context as well as a general people increase in the golf market. We are looking forward to see continuous growth and active transformation of the European industry. Andy is a perfect fit for this role.“
